Product Overview

Trust no one. That's her motto.

And it serves Jenna well, even before a strange light blinds nearly everyone on Earth and causes the glare.

Not that she minds the apocalypse. Why should she? It's the best thing that's ever happened to her. No more secrets. No more lies, and there's plenty of food, just waiting for her to take it. Best of all, she doesn't have to worry about who to trust anymore. Because almost everyone is dead. Or dying.

But there are other dangers in the new world: vicious coyotes, legions of rats, and something worse. Much worse.

Someone's out there. Someone else who can see in the glare. Someone she has reason to distrust...and fear.

And he knows she's all alone...

Grab your sunglasses and get the first book in the thrilling Glare Series now, because the apocalypse won't wait!

AUTHOR INTERVIEW

Q: The Glare began as a single book, but now it's a three-part series with several companion books. Why?

A: It became apparent when The Glare drew to a close that Jenna still has a lot of growing up to do, even though she is already wise beyond her years. Her sister's story is also begging to be told, and it's important to me that readers get to see the events of the series from a point of view that's different than Jenna's. Jenna's smart, capable, and strong; but she's also got a great deal of baggage; that colors her view of the world.

Q: Who would enjoy this story?

A: Anyone who's ever wondered if they have what it takes to survive the end of the world will want to read this book. It's not necessary to be a doomsday prepper to be fascinated with the idea of an apocalypse.

Q: What sets this book (and series) apart from other apocalyptic fiction?

A: The Glare isn't just about the struggle to survive a world that's suddenly bereft of modern conveniences. It also explores the darkest parts of the human psyche as well as the resiliency of the human spirit.
