As a political prisoner Hashil Seif Hashil repressed his prison agony by contemplating over several aspects of human life, flora and fauna. At the same time, he realised, while he was behind bars that interactions between humans, the environment and human concepts of life were very complex then and they are still today. Under rigorous prison guard control, Hashil managed to write down his reflections and succeeded in getting them out of prison when he was released. His compiled thoughts in Reflections from My Prison Notebook indicate that life and nature are so complicated that humans have still a lot to learn and to adjust themselves to fit into our planet earth through developing resilient adaptation strategies. Albeit lifes complexity and formidable challenges, they have not totally managed to derail an individual from experiencing the enchantment of living on this planet earth particularly when appropriate living strategies are applied by the one who is accountable. He believes also that education has given the human race a variety of efficient tools and faculties that have made adaptability of the human race on this mother earth possible and development of sophisticated innovations to remain in continuity.
