Se dice, que en un alejado pueblo del sur de Chile, los hombres y mujeres no pueden amar. Un rbol casi seco en la plaza es la prueba y metfora de ello. Se trata de la maldicin de Rayn, una extraa leyenda que ngela y Patricia, dos amigas que estudian antropologa, han comenzado a investigar. De pronto, ngela recibe un inquietante video a su celular, nada menos que de Patricia que no le deja ms remedio que viajar inmediatamente hasta Almahue para descubrir qu le ha ocurrido y de paso, poner a prueba la veracidad de la leyenda. A veces es necesario llegar al fin del mundo
para encontrar el amor y la amistad verdadera.

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
After her best friend disappears, Angela sets out to confirm whether or not the Legend of the Malamor ; is true -or if it is just a fabrication of the terrified the inhabitants of Almahue. Legend has it that a witch cast a spell over condemning the towns inhabitants to a loveless existence. Angela will have to find out if the alleged witch is still alive, find her friend, and keep the spark of love alive in order to free the town from the curse. Jose Ignacio Valenzuela has an extensive career as a novelist and screenwriter in Chile, Mexico and the U.S. He wrote the screenplay for the telenovela La casa de al lado ; (The house next door).
