Classics in Environmental Studies provides the reader with a selection of the core texts, typically 10 pages, of the most important works in environmental studies. Organized chronologically, the introduction to each of the six sections provides a framework for understanding the context in which the texts were written. Selections include the work of Darwin, Malthus, Ehrlich, Odum, Goldsmith, Brown, Gore, the Commission of the European Community, and many other seminal texts.
