Winsome to win some! That has long been one of my approaches in doing ministry. The Bible says, 'A cheerful heart is good medicine' (Proverbs 17:22) and 'The joy of the Lord is my strength' (Nehemiah 8:10b). There is a natural joy/winsomeness in the heart of every Christian. Why? Because of Jesus, the cross, and all the promises found in God's book-The Bible. Sin, Satan, and our own weak/fallen nature try to rob us of our joy and winsomeness. Cancer also tries. The fact/promise that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us, continues to both maintain and cause our winsomeness to grow; even in the face of our trials and/or cancer. For the believing child of God, it is my prayer these devotions will encourage you in your faith journey. For the unbelieving children of God, I pray these devotions will not only win some, but all(!!!)...to the glory of God and their eternal blessing. Pastor Lyle R. Kath
