This edition of The Book of Daniel was produced with the sole purpose of restoring the chronological integrity of Daniel. A major difficulty with the book arises when concerning the various kings whom Daniel served under. If the reader is not erudite in ancient history it can be an arduous task to understand the flow of events since all the time frames in the book reference the reign of one of these kings. But, if understanding can be gained as to who these kings are and when they ruled you can identify the framework of events with relative ease.
