Product Overview
Quartzville is a story of a mining camp, a Western with no saloon brawls, no colt-toting swaggering bullies. Instead, Linderman tells the stories of ordinary mining camp life: the singing of the Cornishmen, the concerts of local band and its annual ball, of gossips and gossip, of lovers and courtship, of tongue-in-cheek fraternal orders, of the pet bear who liked to stand at the bar for his whiskey. He tells of what it meant to a man to belong in Quartzvile.
