Introduction to Human Anatomy and Physiology presents basic anatomy and physiology in a consistent, readable format appropriate for LPN/LVN and Health Professions students. For example, suntan and sunburn help explain melanin and pigment cells, and normal body functioning is made clearer by showing what happens when its balance is upset by a condition such as diabetes mellitus.
