Gershman as he photographed Albanian rescuers for his book, Besa - Muslims Who Saved Jews In World War Ii. Dr. Kotani's research was instrumental to the movie about Mr. Gershman's project, Besa - The Promise. Here is the story of those who were rescued and the Albanians who sheltered them.
