In 1908, Everitt, Metzger, and Flanders, key figures in the automotive industry, founded the E-M-F Company. Within three years the company was the largest employer in Detroit and was producing more cars than any other company in the US except Ford. This work chronicles the careers of these three pioneers in the industry and provides insight into the formation of automobile companies in Detroit prior to WWI. Historical b&w photos are included.
