At the height of the Cold War, two Americans are running a bar in the West German capital. One of them, Michael Padilloe keeps disappearing on business trips. McCorkle, his partner, knows Padillo is a (reluctant) U.S. agent. But McCorkle is ready to help Padillo, and he joins his friend in a blind journey with no idea what they will encounter at the turn of each dark and dangerous corner.
