The authors created a new annotated outline of the textbook, allowing adopters to see the structure of the book. They also included improved teaching materials that make it easier for adopters of other casebooks to switch. The eighth edition covers new cases on contract issues growing out of the foreclosure crisis, plus new cases from the Supreme Courts arbitration jurisprudence. The authors added new coverage of unilateral change of terms provisions in consumer contracts, as well as new materials covering the Constitutions contract clause in relation to current state pension crisis.
