The Workbook section of the SAM provides structured, written practice of the materials introduced in the corresponding chapters and additional reading comprehension based on cultural and journalistic topics. The Lab Manual section, designed for use with the audio and video program, contains pronunciation practice, a variety of listening comprehension tasks, and video activities to accompany the newly revised video program.
