Disillusionment is the dissolution of an illusion and a return to wonder, to innocence, and to truth. What is the red pill ? The red pill is a term used in the movie The Matrix, to refer to The undistorted truth. What distorts truth? False belief. The phase I don't believe it implies that something is evident but that one does not or will not accept it because the evidence does not fit an existing belief (i.e. and existing denial). I don't believe it is often the first thing someone says when he eventually accepts that which becomes obvious to him in due time.
