Why is this puzzle book different from all other puzzle books? Its a uniquely fun mix of Japan meets Judaism! While the process of working out these word sudokus (wordokus) is the same as usualfill in the boxes with the correct letters so they dont repeatthe solutions are extraordinary, because each one results in a word associated with Yiddish or Jewish life. For example, theres Bar Mitzvah, Chutzpah, Dreidels, and Matzo Balls. Start by using the letters underneath the wordoku: theyre arranged into an easy-to-remember phrase. When the puzzle is done, the correct word will be spelled in a straight line somewhere. (There are a few extra Jewish words thrown in for good measure.) The puzzles come in three sizes: 8 x 8, the traditional 9 x 9, and 10 x 10.
